ABB CEF Indoor Current Limiting Fuses - IEC Standard 3.6/7.2kV-36kV

 

ABB CEF Indoor Current Limiting Fuses are of back-up type to provide electrical circuit protection to medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) cables and systems up to 33kV-36kV.
 
Low power losses make ABB CEF indoor fuse links especially suitable in compact medium voltage switchgear and for fuse switch disconnectors combinations. ABB CEF fuse design is based on overload spots that significantly reduce fuse structure temperature during interruption process. Additionally, due to a modification of striker pin functionality, that release can be now temperature dependent - Temperature Control Unit (TCU) - increasing application safety for gas insulated panels. 
  
ABB CEF indoor fuses have high breaking capability up to 63kA.

The HRC generation of ABB CEF Medium Voltage Fuse Links are designed and tested according to IEC Publication 60282-1. Dimensionally the ABB fuse links are in accordance with DIN 43625.
