Prysmian Draka Bostrig 125 Type P Signal IO P Marine and Offshore Cable is primarily designed for power, control, signal and instrumentation applications for offshore, land rigs, marine vessels and oil and gas drilling rigs. Bostrig 125 Type P Signal IO P cables have excellent resistance to oil, abrasion, moisture, sunlight and ester-based mud (Type P-MR). The Bostrig Type P Signal IO P has standard insulation which has a continuous operating temperature of 125ºC allowing for higher ampacity levels. Larger diameter cables carry a new flexible design. The Bostrig Signal IO P cables satisfy Transport Canada’s cold bend at -40ºC and cold impact at -35ºC (CSA C 22.2 No. 0.3). The Prysmian Draka Bostrig 125 Type P Signal IO P cable is readily available in an armoured version.

Prysmian Draka Cables - Bostrig 125 Type P Signal IO P 16AWG & 14 AWG Cable Construction

1. Conductors Soft annealed stranded tinned copper per ASTM B 33. A polyester tape separator is used over the conductor

2. Insulation Bostrig Type P chemically cross-inked polyolefin (XLPO), meeting IEEE 1580 (2001)

3. Shield An aluminum/polyester tape with drain wire, 100% coverage, is applied over each twisted pair and the cabled core. The single pair construction has only the overall shield

4. Jacket Flame-retardant Arctic Neoprene, complying with Type N Neoprene as required in IEEE-1580 (2001)
