Betaduct trunking ranges include open slot, narrow slot, closed slot and solid wall control panel trunking - Beta brand trunking meets UL and Lloyds approval. Betaduct Noryl is the most specified cable trunking product and is used in underground or confined spaces where there is a risk of fire.
Betaduct Cable Trunking is currently made in several formats:

Betaduct Halogen Free Trunking - Betaduct Noryl NH5110E
Betaduct Noryl is flame retarded, zero halogen, impact modified extrusion grade polymer with a UL-94 V1 rating at 1.5mm. Betaduct Halogen Free (HF) is manufactured using material which forms a protective charred "intumescent" surface layer - Betaduct Noryl is free from halogens and the industry standard for control panel trunking in the mass transit and rail market. Betaduct halogen free trunking is specified for low voltage electrical installations where the public are assembled in a ground level or above situation including hospitals, airport terminals, concert halls, sports stadiums and railway stations.
Betaduct Low Fire Hazard (LFH) Trunking - Betaduct Noryl LS175
Beta Noryl low fire hazard (LFH) cable trunking is manufactured from high grade LS175 Noryl - Noryl is halogen free with excellent low smoke and fume performance. All plastics will burn if the temperature is high enough - PVC has a self extinguishing property by releasing chlorine gas ; this is soluble in moisture forming hydrochloric acid which in turn destroys electronics and circuitry. In addition, PVC emits toxic halogens which can be fatal in enclosed environments. Betaduct Noryl forms a protective charred intumescent surface layer which does not produce any halogen gases or toxic fumes - Betaduct Noryl trunking carries a UL V-0 rating for flammability. Betaduct Noryl cable trunking will not burn below 350 degrees centrigrade which is higher than the low smoke, zero halogen cables contained within the trunking. Betaduct Noryl is specified for low voltage cable trunking by London Underground Limited and Network Rail.
