As described on www.iecex.com, the IECEx system is an international conformity system where a mark of conformity will be granted by approved IECEx certifiers (ExCBs) located in IECEx participating countries for equipment that is covered by an IECEx Certificate of Conformity and hence has been tested and manufactured under systems that are under ongoing surveillance by ExCBs. IECEx gives hazardous area industries an assurance that the electrical equipment being supplied for use in areas where flammable gases and vapours and combustible dusts (termed explosive atmospheres) are present, meet the world's most respected and vigorous safety standards.

 

TOMAR 4000X Hazardous Area Non-Metallic Strobe Warning Light (IECEx, CSA, UL, NEMA)

TOMAR 4000X series is a hazardous area strobe warning light engineered to perform in the harshest environments and is resistant to the corrosive effects of most chemicals, hydrocarbons and solvents. TOMAR 4000X strobe warning lighting is totally non-metallic and are fully potted in urethane material, with no exposure to high voltage possible. Unique mounts of the warning lighting allow for Pendant, Ceiling, or Wall mount installations.

TOMAR 4000X warning lights are suitable for hazardous area Class I, Division 2 Groups A, B, C, & D; Class I, Zone 2, Groups IIC, IIB, IIA; Class II Division 2 Groups F & G; Class III; CSA Enclosure Type 4X, IP66; NEMA 4X, Marine Rated. Standards include: UL 1598, UL 1598A, UL 844, UL 1638, CSA C22.2 no. 137-M1981.

 

 

TOMAR Strobe Beacons - Industrial Heavy Duty Power Strobes

TOMAR strobe beacons are available with single, double and quad flash strobe. The strobe beacons are available in multiple colours (amber, blue, clear, green, purple ad red) and multiple mounting options.

TOMAR manufacture industrial heavy duty power strobes which can have a flash rate of up to 85 flashes per minute and used in steel mills and large manufacturing plants where higher light output is required.
