Ripley WS 62-U adjustable cable stripping tool is used when splicing, jointing and terminating both HV and LV overhead power, transmission and distribution cables.

The WS 62-U tool is used for end stripping or mid span stripping of high denstiy outer jackets or insulating material. This is achieved by using interchangeable blades and the versatile compact design makes tool operation easy and efficeint with mininal effort.

The tool is suitable for use in tighter spaces stripping both secondary and primary insulations adjusting to the cable size with a spring loaded "trigger-action" jaw. The WS 62-U has a micro ajustagble blade allowing easy set up for a variety of insulation thickness.
