Adjustable End Strippers​

Ripley WS 5A Adjustable End Strippers are used when splicing, jointing and terminating both HV and LV overhead power, transmission and distribution cables.

The WS 5A is an upgraded version of the WS 5 model which includes a new adjustable strip stop with rotary mechanism, eliminating the need for a hex wrench. It also adds an adjustment window with inch and metric readings allowing for easy setting for precise strip lengths.

The WS 5A strips XLPE, polyethylene and EPR insulation up to 400 mils thick and can also strip semi-con over insulation.

It is ideal for primary URD cable and can be used on cable outer diameters from 0.260-1.265 in (6.60-32.13mm), 600V to 35kV.
