Cable Jacket & Insulation Stripper

Ripley MK04 cable jacket and insulation stripper is used when splicing, jointing and terminating both HV and LV overhead power, transmission and distribution cables with large cable diameters.

Ripley MK04 is heavy duty in design and therefore suitable for arduous industrial environments. 

The cable jacket and insulation stripper has “Tri-Action Strip” capability: 

• Rotary cut to a longitudinal cut along the cable length for end stripping
• Spiral cut for end stripping
• Spiral cut for mid-span stripping

The blade depth can be adjusted up to 5mm and the depth setting can be locked to assure consistent repetitive operations. 

The stripping action is smooth and the spiral cutting feature provides easier removal of soft jackets
