3M Cold Shrink QS1000 11kV three core high voltage trifurcating transition (trif-tan) cable joints offer fast, safe and simple HV cable installations without the dangers and hassles of “hot-working” associated with HV heat shrink joints - no naked flames, no gas torches, no ignition tools, no “hot-work” permit applications.

3M QS1000 11kV Cold Shrink Trifurcating Transition Cable Joints are suitable for high voltage cable jointing of 3 core PILC or PICAS cables onto single core XLPE cables with copper wire screens, 95-300sqmm.

3M QS1000 - Cold Shrink Joint Splice Bodies : 3M QS1000 Quicksplice Cold Shrink Splice bodies are a one piece cable joint body, manufactured by 3M from silicone material which provides a flexible, easy to install cable joint with superior electrical performance.

The finished 3M QS1000 Cold Shrink splice body is expanded and loaded onto a removable core which allows the cable joints to be installed without heat (eg heat shrink torches, hot air burners).
