11kV Trifurcating Joints - 3M QS1000 Cable Joints, Cold Shrink

3M QS1000 Cold Shrink Joints are designed for transition trifurcating splicing and cable jointing up to 11kV, this covers the HV splicing of three core PILC/PICAS onto single core XLPE cables 50-400sqmm.

Scotchcast 1402FR resin packs provide options to install and carry out HV splicing/jointing in Zones 1 and Zones 2 hazardous areas as well as standard industrial direct burial (underground) high voltage joints.

3M QS1000 - Cold Shrink Joint Splice Bodies : 3M QS1000 Quicksplice Cold Shrink Splice bodies are a one piece cable joint body, manufactured by 3M from silicone material which provides a flexible, easy to install cable joint with superior electrical performance.

The finished 3M QS1000 Cold Shrink splice body is expanded and loaded onto a removable core which allows the cable joints to be installed without heat (eg heat shrink torches, hot air burners).
