Explosion Proof Plugs - Marechal DXN3 32 Amp 

ATEX Hazardous Area Zones 1, 2, 21, 22

Marechal DXN3 plugs and sockets (decontactors) are designed for explosive atmospheres, with ‘ed’ protection mode. Marechal explosion-proof plugs comply with the hazardous area (ATEX) directives dated 23rd March 1994 and 199/92/CE. 

Marechal DXN3 plugs and sockets can be used in hazardous area zones 1 and zones 2 (gas) and zones 21 and zones 22 (dust).
 

Marechal DXN explosion proof plugs main applications is for supplying low voltage electrical power to machines and equipments in explosive atmospheres. Versions including 2 auxiliaries are also available (Marechal DXN3:32A/550V; Marechal DXN6: 63A/550V).

DXN3 hazardous area plugs & sockets have an incorporated breaking capacity of AC-22 / AC-23 and have an impact resistant GRP casing.

Marechal DXN3 Plugs Load Break Capability

• Temperature rating - Gas temperature classes: T6 for an ambient T° between -40 and +40 °C, T5 for an ambient T° between -40 and +60 °C
• Temperature rating - Dust surface temperature classes: Surface T° ≤57 °C for an ambient T° between -40 and +40 °C Surface T° ≤77 °C for an ambient T° between -40 and +60 °C
• Comply with EN 60309-1 32 A / 750 V
