The non armoured loop detector feeder cable is a copper communications cable sheathed with medium density polyethyylene (MDPE) designed for installation in a ducted network. TR2031 feeder cable is constructed from solid plain copper conductors insulated with solid polyethylene - the armoured feeder cable for inductive loop detectors is a copper communications cable sheathed with medium density polyethylene (MDPE) with a single layer of galvanised steel wire armour (SWA) for direct burial underground.
