Actifoam is designed and installed to provide reliable fire protection of cable ducts and pipe entries in building and industrial applications, including Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.

Actifoam firestop seals combine flexibility and simplicity with outstanding fire protection properties - Actifoam closed cell foam rubber sheets can be sized to suit any variety of cable or pipe service passing through any size of wall or floor openings and penetrations. Firestop frame technology is combined with Actifoam to create an extremely high level of fire resistance in a design simple to install and easy to regularly disassemble - CSD Actifoam firestop sealing system is ideal for applications where routing or re-routing of low and high voltage cables or pipework is expected.

Actifoam firestop technology ensures that during a fire the rubbers, thermoplastics and compounds used for the cable seal or pipe seal will produce such an amount of fire retardant material that major deformations or displacements in the services or structure are effectively accomodated, as a result the penetration will remain fire-tight. CSD Actifoam Sealing System is an expanding rubber that fills any cavities or gaps in constructions, offering a perfect fire seal to cables and pipes with age testing exceeding 50 years.

London Underground - The CSD Sealing System based upon Actifoam technology has been tested extensively to guarantee low smoke and low toxic gase production (LSF) in accordance with LUL projects.

Actifoam offers two-hour fire protection for both integrity and insulation - tested in accordance with most stringent fire test procedure EN1366-3. With the addtion of a 10mm Nofirno layer, the Actifoam cable and pipe sealing system provides gas tight and water tight cable and pipe seals.
