Weidmuller now presents the fourth generation Stripax of this cable stripping tools (insulation cutting tools) for flexible and solid conductors with PVC insulation, multi-conductors and thin ribbon cables featuring significant innovations.

Weidmuller Stripax Insulation Stripping Tool Features

Detachable grip plate - allowing different handle sizes to suit small as well as large hands so the cable stripping tools can be operated precisely and effortlessly regardless of the user’s hand size.

Compact and lightweight design – 190mm length, 175g weight – has a hinged protective cover for the cutting edges, thus preventing accidental damage of conductors and allowing quick and safe stripping.

Partial stripping feature, which can be activated separately, leaves the cable insulation off-cut on the conductor, preventing the conductor from fanning out.

Personalised marking with an individual print using the ESG device marker allows personal identification of the stripax cable stripping tools.

Sliders simplify the adjustment of both stripping length and thickness of the insulation. The maximum stripping length has been extended from 18 to 25 mm and the cable stripping tools (insulation cutting tools) can precisely be adjusted to thin or thick insulation material. In addition to cable stripping tools (insulation cutting tools), the Weidmüller range of cutting tools comprises tools for dismantling, cutting, crimping and testing cables.
