Pfisterer Connex HV bushings require less space than conventional type high voltage connectors - high voltage elbow bushings are suitable for ring main units, circuit breakers, switchgears, transformers, capacitors and motor applications with 250amp and 650amp current ratings.

Pfisterer Connex HV bushings are available for 33kV and 52kV voltage systems insulated by SF6 gas or oil. HV bushings feature M12 standard threated connections, bolt-on type connection and are available in sizes 1, 2 or 3 for gas or oil insulated HV electrical equipment systems.

Pfisterer MV-Connex multi-contact elbow bushings are used instead of DIN-standard porcelain versions on the medium-voltage side of power trans- formers. These Connex bushings distribute the current over two or four cables, accommodating higher power loads using more manageable cable cross sections.

 

Pfisterer Connex Transformer Bushings Types:

• Pfisterer MV-Connex Transformer Elbow Bushings 

- Pfisterer elbow bushings can be swiveled by 260°.

- The grounded metal housing provides absolute protection against electric-shock hazard.

- Fastening in accordance with DIN 42538 flange A, flange thickness of the transformer cover max. 10 mm. 

 

• Pfisterer MV-Connex Multi-Contact Elbow Bushings 

- Pfisterer multiple elbow bushings are fitted instead of the DIN porcelain bushings on the medium voltage side of the power transformer.

- The multiple elbow bushings consist of an insulation body that is integrated in a metal housing is connected with a maximum of 2 or 4 cables using CONNEX cable connectors sizes 2 or 3.

- The earthed metal housing provide total protection against contact and is suitable for offshore applications. 

 

• Pfisterer MV-Connex Double-Contact Elbow Bushings - up to 52 kV ​

- For plug-in and clamping type construction respectively

- With aluminium housing.

 

• Pfisterer MV-CONNEX Quadruple-Contact Elbow Bushings - up to 52 kV 

- For plug-in and clamping type construction respectively.

- With aluminium housing.
