Denso Tapes & Mastics for Corrosion Protection & Sealing Cables or Pipes

 

Denso tapes provide corrosion protection, waterproofing and sealing of utilities including pipes (gas, water and oil pipelines) and cables (low and high voltage underground networks).

Denso corrosion protection tape is also used for protecting exposed metalwork and conductors from corrosion and for temporary moisture sealing of cut cable ends.

Denso tape is a cold applied anti-corrosion and sealing tape based on a synthetic fabric, impregnated and coated with a neutral petrolatum compound.

Typical Denso Petrolatum Tape Applications

Waterproofing, sealing and corrosion protection of above and underground pipes, flanges, valves, marine jetty pile supports, electric cables, cooling tower pipework, cadwelds, cable joints, conduit and exposed structural steel.

Densoseal 16a mastic is used to seal cable ducts and conduits against gas or water which can accumulate in underground ducts carrying telephone or power cables.

Densoseal 16a mastic can be used to seal ducts terminating inside buildings, manholes or chambers and exhibits excellent adhesion to steel, PVC and cable sheaths include XLPE, PILC and Triplex.

Densoseal 16a mastic is manually packed into duct ends and moulded firmly around cables and against the duct to eliminate any gaps or fissures.

Denso mastic should be packed to a depth at least equal to the duct diameter.
