Cembre RHU81 hydraulic crimp head complete with quick automatic coupler for connection to a hydraulicpump with a working pressure of 700bar max.

Cembre RHU81 crimp head is lightweight and contained featuring a patented closure and release mechanism for the die locking pin.

Cembre RHU81 Hydraulic Presshead - User Instructions

Cembre RHU81 presshead tool is suitable for crimping electrical cable connectors, lugs and splices for copper conductors from 10sqmm up to 240sqmm.

• Cembre RHU81 presshead is equipped wth "self-lock" quick male coupler
• Presshead can be connected to Cembre hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical pump
• Select the appropriate crimp die set for the electrical connector (lug or splice)
• Release the oil pressure from the presshead and fully retract the tool arm
• Press release pin and withdraw die stop pin
• Insert the crimp die set into the guides
• Insert the die stop pin until fully located
• Insert the cable conductor into the connector (lug or splice)
• Locate the crimp connector between the dies at desired crimping position
• Operate the pump until the dies make contact
• Ensure crimp dies are positioned exactly on the area to be crimped
• Operate the pump to advance the main ram until the die faces touch
• Continue pumping until the maximum pressure valve is activated
• Fully discharge oil pressure from the pump, to retract the ram
• Release the crimped connector from the presshead tool

Crimping Tool Tips & Notes : Oil pressure in the Cembre RHU81 presshead must be always completely released before disconnecting the head from the nose.

Crimping Tool Maintenance : Dust, sand and dirt threaten the safe and reliable operation of all hydraulic presshead tools - after use the Cembre RHU81 should be cleaned with a clean cloth taking care to remove any residual especially close to pivots and movable parts.
