CTL Clearcast resin branch cable joints are suitable for branch jointing XLPE/SWA and split concentric street lighting cables.

Kits include mechanical connectors for jointing of copper or aluminium conductors and earth continuity kit for steel wire armoured (SWA) cables.

Branch cable joints are also referred to as breeches joints, T (tee) joints and Y joints - T&D stock all configurations of branch joints for street lighting cables.

Branch cable joints can be installed without cutting through the mains cable ("uncut main") using the appropriate connectors.

In this case remove the outer sheath, steel wire armours and bedding to the above dimensions - both the service branch and mains cables may be 2, 3 or 4 core.
