ABB Screened Separable Straight Connectors for high voltage (HV) XLPE insulated cable termination , 10-95sqmm, 11kV-12kV, rated current 250amps.

ABB HV cable connectors are premolded screened separable connectors for XLPE insulated single or three core cables with copper or aluminium conductors, 11-12kV. ABB connectors terminate high voltage cables with copper wire and copper tape screens, with or without aluminium (AWA) or steel wire armour (SWA) into switchgear or transformers.

ABB CSS-A 12250, 24250 high voltage straight connectors fit standard switchgear or transformer bushings of the external outer cone type according to EN50181, 200 series 250A, plug-in 7.9mm diameter.

ABB HV cable connectors are suitable for terminating high voltage XLPE insulated cables in both indoor and outdoor installations, 11-12kV.

ABB CSS-A straight cable connectors are manufactured in rubber with three layers - a conductive layer, an insulation layer and a conductive outer layer vulcanised together to provide optimum interface between the electrical layers. ABB HV cable connectors include a capacitive test point with protection and an integrated earthing wire.
