3M Scotchcast No. 4 Epoxy Resin is an electrical insulating, two-part epoxy encapsulating resin.

3M Scotchcast No. 4 epoxy resin is mixed in its unique container bag generating its own heat to cure.

The nature of the viscosity, which first decreases to allow it to flow into crevices and awkward spots and then increase rapidly to cure, makes it ideal for small cable joints.

Typical applications for 3M Scotchcast No 4 Epoxy Resin:  Jointing solid dielectric and oil filled cables up to 8 kV and encapsulating high voltage cable joints up to 69kV.

3M Scotchcast No.4 epoxy resin is included in 3M 82 and 90-B1 cable joints.
