3M Scotch VM 2210 vinyl mastic tape is a self-fusing, rubber based insulating compounds, laminated to a flexible, all-weather grade PVC backing.

3M mastic tapes are designed to insulate and moisture seal all connections up to 600 volts with excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acid, corrosion and UV.

Applications for 3M Scotch 2210 and 3M Scotch 2200 Mastic Tape and Pads include sealing and insulating bolted connections, service drops, traffic signal wire connections, lighting connections and transformer bushing protection.

3M vinyl mastic tape is used as a transition tape between polymer (XLPE) and paper (PILC) insulation on sweated ferrules and as a moisture seal on lead sheaths.
