ABB Screened Separable Elbow Connectors for high voltage (HV) XLPE insulated cable termination , 10-300sqmm, 11kV-12kV with 250 Amps, 400 Amps and 630 Amps current ratings.

ABB HV cable connectors are premolded screened separable connectors for XLPE insulated single or three core cables with copper or aluminium conductors, 11-12kV. ABB connectors terminate high voltage cables with copper wire and copper tape screens, with or without aluminium (AWA) or steel wire armour (SWA).

ABB CSE-A (elbow connectors) fit standard bushings of external cone type in accordance with EN 50181 fulfiling the requirements of CENELEC HD 629.1 S2.

ABB CSE-A 12250 high voltage 11kV elbow connectors fit standard switchgear or transformer bushings of the external outer cone type according to EN50181, 200 series 250Amp, plug-in 7.9mm diameter.

ABB CSE-A 12400 high voltage 11kV elbow connectors fit standard switchgear or transformer bushings of the external outer cone type according to EN 50181, 400 series 400Amp, plug-in 14mm diameter.

ABB CSE-A 12630 high voltage 11kV elbow connectors fit standard switchgear or transformer bushings of the external outer cone type according to EN 50181, 400 series 630Amp, M16 bolt.

ABB HV cable connectors are suitable for terminating high voltage XLPE insulated cables in both indoor and outdoor installations.

ABB CSE-A are manufactured in rubber with three layers - a conductive layer, an insulation layer and a conductive outer layer vulcanised together to provide optimum interface between the electrical layers. ABB HV cable connectors include a capacitive test point with protection and an integrated earthing wire.
