Thorne & Derrick offer a full range of insulated tools with the Nupla Power Pylon socket. This new concept for insulated tools offers a significantly lighter weight than traditional insulated tools.

The insulated tools reduction in weight over traditional tools reduces fatigue and injury concerns for the user.

Power Pylon insulated tools conform to BS3388 and perform to British Standards for insulated tools required for digging purposes.

The range of Power Pylon insulated tools conform to BS3388 and BS8020 and are individually electrically tested to requirements of BS8020:2002.

Power Pylon Insulated Tools -2 Versions:

E-Series - Insulated tools with NUPLAGLAS-cored shafts with contoured orange sleeving incorporating integral D grips.

Classic - Insulated tools having heavier solid NUPLAGLAS orange shafts with either hard-wearing plastic YD grips, or metal YD grips.

The Power Pylon insulated tools socket is electrically non-conductive and requires no insulating covering.
