Prysmian 424TP Barrier glands are suitable for cable glanding and terminating OCMA lead sheathed power cables in Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 hazardous areas.. The BARR-PB Ex d llC 424TP series aids the control of migrating gasses and includes bicaseal putty.

Prysmian 424TP Barrier Glands Features & Benefits:

  • Brass indoor and outdoor cable gland for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas
  • Suitable for circular, galvanised steel single wire armour cables with extruded polymeric oversheath and Lead Inner sheat
  • Achieves IP66 seal onto cable and to enclosure with suitable sealing washer or thread sealant
  • Provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity through the armour wire termination
  • Provides electrical continuity to the inner lead sheath
  • Suitable for most climatic conditions - weatherproof and waterproof
  • Standard and Nickel plated versions available
