Mains Branch Cable Joints
LV XLPE PILC Cables 600/1000v
CTL Clearcast and 3M Scotchcast resin cast mains branch cable joints are suitable for the branch jointing of XLPE and PILC SWA cables, 600/1000 volts - 3.3kV.
All branch joints include earth continuity kits for steel wire armoured (SWA) cables and mechanical connectors for conductor jointing.
Branch joints are encapsulated with two-part resin for electrical insulation and mechanical protection.
Branch joints are suitable for both cut and uncut mains XLPE or PILC power cables.

Branch Cable Joints (Resin Type) with Mechanical Connectors
Sicame mechanical shearbolt cable lugs and connectors feature shearbolt technology for fast, simple cable jointing without resort to compression tooling and associated die sets - ideal for cable jointing metric to imperial, dissimilar sized and type conductors.
Sicame cable jointing connectors are suitable for stranded copper and solid sector, stranded and circular aluminium conductors, 600/1000 volts.
Sicame mechanical shearbolt cable lugs and connectors provide range taking jointing and terminating solutions for low voltage industrial and utility cables.

CTL Clearcast Branch Cable Joints
CTL Clearcast resin cable joints are suitable for the branch cable jointing of mains multi-core XLPE and PILC SWA cables, 600/1000 volts - 3.3kV.
All LV branch joints include earth continuity kits for steel wire armoured (SWA) cables and mechanical connectors for conductor jointing.
Large cable joints shells enable the LV jointer to effectively cable joint in confined cable trenches and where core cross-overs are required.
Branch joints are encapsulated with two-part resin for electrical insulation and mechanical protection.
Branch joints are suitable for both cut and uncut mains XLPE or PILC power cables. For applications up to 1000 volts, the cable joints may be filled under load conditions.
The completed resin cable joint should be left uncovered before back-filling for two hours to allow the jointing resin to fully cure and harden.
Cable jointers must ensure that there is no movement of the cable cores during the curing of the completed resin cable joint.
