3M Silicone Cold Shrink Tubes are open-ended, silicone rubber, tubular sleeves used to seal cables, connectors, glands and lugs providing LSF (Low Smoke & Fume) seal.

Simply unwind the core and the 3M Silicone Cold Shrink Tube shrinks to form a tight seal around the cable, lug, connector or gland.

Each insulator type collectively has an application range of 0.35" / 8.86mm to 0.95" (24.13mm) for installations on #6 AWG to 3/0 AWG.

• Primary insulation for cables and wires up to 1000 volts
• Direct burial (underground) or submersible cable sealing
• Indoor, outdoor or overhead cable and wire sealing
• Moisture seal for high voltage, air insulated cable connectors and lugs
• LSF (Low Smoke & Fume) cable repairs - including aircraft cables
• Sealing of LSF BW and CW brass cable glands
