The ProGARM 2660 arc flash helmet with face shield is manufactured using Modified High Impact Polymide. The ProGARM safety helmet protects the head against injuries caused by falling objects, electric arc and molten metal splashes. ProGARM 2660 arc flash helmet also protects against electric shock by preventing shock current flow through the head. ProGARM has developed this helmet as personal safety equipment for live working with electrical connections.

ProGARM Safety Helmet Face Shield Testing & Certification Information

The ProGARM 2660 Face shield is tested in accordance with EN 166 and also tested for Arc Flash in accordance to GS-ET-29. The IEC61482-1-2 Box Test is applied to the safety Face Shield. GS-ET-29 is a “supplementary requirement for the testing and certification of face shields for electrical works”.
