Wolf's Airturbo's are air driven lamps which are certified for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.

The Wolf Airturbo provides illumination for applications such as tank cleaning and pipeline inspections, commonly within the oil and petrochemical industries and once connected to a suitable air supply, a continuous output of high quality illumination is produced, even under water.

Airturbos are available with either a bay light fitting which uses a ball glass and a protective polycarbonate dome to provide 360º illumination or with a flood beam giving a 30º angle of light or a concentrated spot light.

Wolf's Airturbo's use a 12V 55W tungsten halogen bulb which is powered by a compressed air driven turbo-alternator and a gunmetal impulse turbine wheel. 

Wolf Airturbo airlamps meet strict requirements of underground explosion proof lighting for coal mines and is BASEEFA certified for use in zones 1 and 2 hazardous areas. Mostly used in oil and petrochemicals industry for tank cleaning and pipeline inspections.
