Ecom Ex-TRA 300 headsets are a series of explosion-protected headsets for use under working extreme conditions and Zone 1 hazardous areas. It can be extremeley difficult to be heard in a noisy working environment and without adequate equipment it is virtually impossible to relay information or instructions to employees. The Ecom Ex-Tra 300 has been specifically designed for these applications.

Furthermore, the Ecom Ex-TRA 300 ear protection headset also protects against subsequent health damage, which can be caused by too loud a noise level. Soft sealing rings and gentle contact pressure ensure both high wearing comfort and high insulation values.

The hazardous area ATEX certified headsets are available for the radio units Ecom Ex-PMR 1000 and Ecom Ex-PMR 2000, as well as for the Motorola GP series, THR880i Ex and the THR9 Ex. All Ecom headsets are equipped with their own Push To Talk (PTT) button. The versions applicable for the digital TETRA radio standard have an integrated amplifier circuit and this also ensures clear, loud communication here as well.
