3M LC Cold Shrink Joints + STFF Fire Resistant Shield - halogen free, cold shrink inner cable joint with 3M STFF protection sleeve.

3M Cold Shrink + STFF cable joints are suitable for cable trays and cable containment areas where a bulky resin cable joint is not practical, this option has a much slimmer profile and compact cable joint with space and weight savings for low voltage power cable installations.

This type of 3M cable joint is not suitable for direct burial as the 3M STFF sleeve will absorb moisture and hydrocarbons over time. Not hydrocarbon resistant.

The 3M STFF has been approved by Network Rail and LUL for use in cable tunnels where fire resistance is very important.

Also used for cable jointing projects for cable joints in cable trays in construction, building services, oil, gas, petrochem, utilities and power sectors.

3M LV Cold Shrink Cable Jointing Kits suitable for cable types XLPE/PVC/EPR Insulation, Lead Sheath, Steel Wire Armour (SWA), Galvanised Steel Wire Braided (GSWB) and Phosphur Bronze Wire Braided (PBWB) Cables rated 0.6/1kV up to 1.9/3.3kV.

Cold shrink cable jointing kits are suitable for jointing cables indoor, outdoor, overhead or installed in cable trays - this includes both onshore and offshore cable jointing applications.
