LV-HV CABLE JOINTING & PREPARATION TOOLS
Using the correct cable tools to prepare industrial and utility cables before cable jointing and terminating reduces catastrophic cable failures.
Boddingtons cable jointing tools enable cable preparation, stripping and cutting of insulation (XLPE, EPR), semi-conductive screens (fully-bonded and "easy strip" peelable) and cable sheaths (PVC, PE, EPR).
Cembre tools cut and crimp underground cables and overhead power lines - hydraulic, ratchet and battery operated tools. Cut or crimp EPR, PILC, XLPE, PVC insulated cables with copper or aluminium conductors, lead sheath, steel wire armour (SWA) or steel wire braid (GSWB).
Nexans and Pfisterer Cable Jointer Tool Kits are designed to enable the HV jointer to prepare high voltage power cables prior to the installation of Nexans Screened Separable Connectors and Pfisterer Connex Inner Cone Plugs.
