The FP200 Gold cable is tough, durable and dressable. Prysmian FP200 Gold is also easy to install and terminate. 

Prysmian FP200 Flex is fire resistant cable for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings, voice alarm systems, emergency lighting systems and other essential service circuits.

Prysmian FP200 Gold Fire Resistant Cable Specifications

General - Standard fire resisting cables typically used for surface wiring of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems should have a metallic screened construction. They should be sufficiently robust to withstand the mechanical severity of installation and provide a physical resistance throughout the system’s intended life.

Manufacturing Experience - The manufacturer should have at least 10 years experience of design, manufacture, development and testing of fire resistant cables of similar construction for use in UK buildings.

Certification - The manufacturer should hold current, third party accreditation for quality and environmental standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Sheath - The sheath shall be a robust mineral filled compound complying with BS7655 Type LTS3.

Screen - The screen shall consist of a longitudinally applied laminated aluminium tape, of minimum metal thickness 0.075mm, securely bonded to the sheath. An uninsulated, tinned copper circuit protective conductor shall be in contact with the screen and match the dimensions and construction of the core conductors.

Core Identification - Cores shall be identified by colours (2 core to 4 core inclusive) and numbered white cores (7 core to 37 inclusive)

Insulation - The insulation shall be of a robust cross-linked thermosetting type complying with BS7655 type EI5.

Conductors - Conductors shall consist of plain annealed copper and a tinned annealed copper circuit protective conductor.

Voltage Rating - The cables shall be rated at 300/500V

Fire Performance - Cables should meet the performance requirements of BS6387 Category CWZ, EN 50200 PH30 & PH60, BS EN 50200 Annex E, BS EN 60332-1-2, BS EN 60332-3-24, BS EN 61034-2 and produce less than 0.5% acidic gases when tested in accordance with BS EN 50267-2-1.
