Designed to connect polymeric insulated cables into gas insulated switchgear, ring main units, circuit breakers, high voltage motors, transformers, tranducers and sealing boxes - Pfisterer Connex inner cone plugs are extensively used to terminate high voltage 33kV cables into GIS (gas insulated switchgear), and include a screened separable plug-in connector and inner cone suitable for terminating graphite coated, fully bonded or "easy-strip" semi-conducting screened high voltage cables - this includes 11kV, 33kV, 52kV and transmission voltages.
Pfisterer inner cone plug separable connectors are suitable for terminating high voltage single core cables with copper wire screens. Pfisterer HV cable plugs are suitable for indoor and outdoor cable terminations with or without voltage taps - offshore and 3 core version Pfisterer cable plugs are available.

Pfisterer Ixosil High Voltage Silicone Slip-On Cable Joints.
Pfisterer Ixosil premoulded slip-on silicone cable joints are the most common and reliable technology for the cable jointing and cross bonding of polymeric (XLPE) insulated high voltage cables up to 300kV - one-piece construction Ixosil cable joints are extremely compact in size and the space required in a joint bay therefore is reduced to a minimum.
Ixosil MSA slip-on, single piece, silicone rubber body cable joints with integrated screen insulation for polymeric cables (72.5kV-300kV) with coppper or aluminium conductors (up to 2000sqmm)  - tested to IEC 60840/62067. Ixosil cable joints are available with integrated screen insulation and are suitable for any kind of cable screen treatment, including cross bonding.

Pfisterer KP5 Voltage Detectors 33kV-420kV
Capacitive Voltage Tester 3 Phase Networks, used throughout the electricity utilities, and specified worldwide. Pfisterer has now launched the new KP-Test 5H for high voltages 33kV to 420kV. The successor to the Pfisterer KP Test III has all of the special features that are already well known from the KP-Test 5: the red signal that indicates the presence of voltage is generated by six light emitting diodes that are highly visible and thus can be easily differentiated from the green light that illuminates when there is no voltage present. The new arrangement of the test lamps supports the strength of the optical signal and the integrated acoustic signal ensures additional safety. Neither poor visibility conditions nor loud background noise are able to affect how these are perceived by the person carrying out the test - KP5 ensures safe and sound voltage detection.

Pfisterer Connex HV Bushings
Pfisterer Connex HV bushings require less space than conventional type high voltage connectors - high voltage elbow bushings are suitable for ring main units, circuit breakers, switchgears, transformers, capacitors and motor applications with 250amp and 650amp current ratings.
Pfisterer Connex HV bushings are available for 33kV and 52kV voltage systems insulated by SF6 gas or oil. HV bushings feature M12 standard threated connections, bolt-on type connection and are available in sizes 1, 2 or 3 for gas or oil insulated HV electrical equipment systems.

Pfisterer Connex HV insulators permit air-insulated switchgear to be installed with touch safe high voltage cable terminations up to 33kV. Switching zones and cable termination zones can be insulated safely and easily - available to suit Pfisterer Connex HV bushings sizes 1, 2 and 3 with 630amp, 800amp and 1250amp current ratings.

SF6 Gas - Dielectric and Insulating Medium for HV Systems
SF6 gas is used in the electrical industry as a gaseous dielectric medium for high-voltage (33kV and above) circuit breakers, switchgear and other electrical equipment. SF6 gas replaces oil filled circuit breakers (OCBs) that can contain harmful PCBs. SF6 gas under pressure is used as an insulator in gas insulated switchgear (GIS) because it has a much higher dielectric strength than air or dry nitrogen enabling switchgear manufacturers to significantly reduce the size of electrical gear. This makes GIS more suitable for certain high voltage applications such as indoor placement, as opposed to air-insulated electrical gear which takes up considerably more space. Gas insulated electrical switchgear is also more resistant to the effects of pollution and climate as well as being more reliable in long-term operation because of its controlled operating environment.

Pfisterer Connex Surge Arresters
Used to protect switchgear and transformers equipped with plug-in type high voltage bushings, 6.6kV up to 42kV.Pfisterer Connex surge arresters are used to protect metal-enclosed switchgear fitted with cable terminations in accordance with EN 50180/EN 50181. The surge arresters are connected to the switchgear transformer and prevent the entry of excessively high surges.
