Fully insulated piercing technology eliminates the need to remove core insulation enabling live cable jointing. Service to service piercing connectors do not require the insulation on either cable to be removed prior to jointing - the bolt is simply sheared off and this makes the electrical connection. Nylon bolts are recommended with an insulated 13mm socket.
