11kV-33kV heat shrink high voltage cable joints are complete with mechanical connectors for cable jointing of polymeric insulated cables.

Electrical Stress Control
HV joints include stress control tubing at each cable end in combination with the yellow stress grading mastic at the screen cut.

Heat Shrink Insulation
HV joints feature combined built-in high voltage screen and thick wall layer of insulation.

Robust Sealing & Protection
HV joints include a thick wall heat shrink tubing with internal adhesive lining to ensure an effective moisture seal and corrosion protection for underground cable joints. Cable laying techniques require a robust oversheath capable of withstanding high mechanical stresses during the cable laying installation and the entire cable life time. 

HV heat shrink cable joints are tested and qualified as outlined in Cenelec standards HD 628 S1 and 629.1 S2 : 2006. This cable joint testing criteria encompasses VDE0279 and IEC60502 and following voltage classes for HV joints and terminations : 3.8/6.6 (7.2kV), 6.35/11 (12kV), 8.7/15 (17.5kV), 12.7/22 (24kV) and 19/33 (36kV).
