Prysmian E1W-XL Bicon Glands Exd & Exe - Applications
* Double seal cable gland for both indoor and outdoor cable termination
* Exd and Exe cable gland suitable for wire armour (SWA, W) cable termination
* Exd and Exe cable gland suitable for wire braid (GSWB, X) cable termination
* Cable glands seals and bonds lead sheathed (EEMUA 133) type cables
* Suitable for cable gland installations in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas
* Nickel plated cable glands available
* Ingress protection to IP66 and IP67

EXD Flameproof Ex "d" Cable Glands - electrical equipment may include arcing and sparking (incendive) devices and flammable mixtures. The cable gland construction is designed to contain an internal explosion and prevent transmission of sufficient energy to ignite a potentially flammable atmosphere outside the enclosure or junction box.

EXE Increased Safety Ex "e" Cable Glands - explosive mixtures may enter the cable gland but the likelihood of a fault condition, which could result in ignition of the mixture, is significantly reduced. The components within the cable gland do not produce arcs, sparks or temperatures above that of ignition temperature of the surrounding atmosphere in normal working conditions. Minimum ingress protection IP54 for increased safety electrical equipment.
