3M Scotch Electrical Shielding, Grounding and Earthing Braid Tapes offer a range of earthing solutions for low and high cable installations.

3M Scotchcast Armour Continuity Kits (ACC) are designed to provide complete electrical earth continuity across the cable joint position on 2, 3 or 4 core XLPE/SWA and EPR/GSWB cables for inline, tee or branch configurations. 3M Scotchcast AC armour continuity kits include two interlocking contact rings and two lengths of steel band with pre-assembled buckles - the 3M Band-It J020 Pok It Tool is used to assemble the earthing system.

3M Scotchcast Spring Bonding Kits (SB) bond the armour wires on armoured and braided cables in Scotchcast cable joints, including the ‘resin pressure method of cable jointing. The 3M SB earth braid kits provide an electrical bond and should be used where earthing leakage protection is installed.

3M Scotch 24 Electrical Shielding Tape is an all metal, open-weave, shielding earth braid tape in a flat, cable type form. 3M Scotch 24 tape is oil resistant, fire resistant and compatible with all high voltage splicing and terminating kits. Applications for 3M Scotch 24 include providing electrical shielding for cable joints, making the conductive part of the stress cone on cable terminations and smoothing connector areas in oil-filled cables.

3M Scotch 25 Electrical Grounding Braid is an all-metal woven earthing and grounding braid in a flat, cable type form - cross sectional area 16mm². 3M Scotch 25 braid has high current-carrying capacity and is compatible with all power cables and high voltage joints and terminations.
