The Wolf ATEX Floodlight Worklite is a rechargeable high output LED floodlight, designed for use in harsh explosive atmosphere and hazardous area lighting applications. Wolf ATEX Worklite offers unique levels of light output, operational duration and robustness in a self contained battery powered lamp. The Worklite is ideal for use in remote floodlighting applications including Zones 1 and 2 hazardous areas for extended periods.
The Wolf ATEX Worklite is CE marked to the 94/9/EC ATEX Equipment Directive, allowing use in hazardous area Zones 1 and 2 potentially explosive gas, vapour, mist and dust atmospheres, where a T4 temperature class permits.
Three Wolf Worklite Floodlight models are available : the Wolf WL-85 with a 12 LED lamp head, giving over 1000 lumens output, the Wolf WL-70 with a 6 LED lamp head, giving over 500 lumens output and the Wolf WL-80 which combines the 12 LED lamp head with the smaller battery from the WL-70 giving a more portable unit still giving 1000 lumens of light output. All models deliver a piercing 30° beam, combined with a flood of lower level fringe light. The LED light source has a 25,000 hour life, highlighting the low maintenance benefits of the Wolf Worklite range.
Hazardous Area Zones Classification - Wolf Floodlights
Zone 1 - where flammable atmosphere is likely to occur during normal operation. Zone 2 - where flammable atmosphere is not likely to occur during normal operation and if it does will only exist for short period of time, typically less than 10 hours per year.
